Turkish Çalık Holding will build a Turkish Business District in Tashkent, which will host a business center, hotels, a Ziraat Bank office and a shopping/entertainment center. The project is estimated at US$ 400 million, the deputy Tashkent mayor responsible investments, innovations and tourism development Alisher Tilyaev said.
On Monday and interim Tashkent mayor Jakhongir Ortyqhkhojaev and the General Director of the energy company Çalık Energy Rıdvan Aktürk signed a memorandum of understanding on the construction of the Turkish Business District during the visit of the Turkish President.
Çalık Holding currently operates in energy, construction, mining, textile, finance and telecom sectors.
In addition, Jakhongir Ortyqhkhojaev (Mayor of Tashkent) signed a memorandum of understanding with Turkish Ziraat Bank CEO Aydın Hüseyn on the construction of the Ziraat Bank office and business center in Tashkent.
The Business District will be located on 2.5 hectares. Design and survey works will begin this year.
